- Reset the Total and color counters in Simulation 24-04 after maintenance is preformed.
- Based on the settings in simulation TC21-1, the message on the display is _ _ Maintenance Required . The first 2 characters discribe both the counter that is ready for maintenance and the counter setting.
The first character will signify the counter and the characters displayed are as follows:
T: Total Maintenance Counter
C: Color Maintenance Counter
A: When the Total and Color counters have the same value
The second character signifies the maintenance interval:
A: 5K
B: 10K
C: 15K
D: 20K
E: 40K(default)
F: 80K
A typical message that might be displayed is TE Maintenance Required . This would mean the Total Counter has reached the 40K maintenance period set with Simulation 21-1.

How many Bear's do you have left in the field Gene?
We have only 2 now (thank goodness). I am the only one game enough to work on them. In their day they were pretty good. These days, I agree with the catching fire remark!Comment

This is the only one. The only reason this one is out is because the little old lady that has it couldn't qualify for a real copier and the boss felt sorry for her, so he had me dig this one out of storage. Should have scrapped it sooner.I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.Comment

Hopefully she doesn't do much work with it, because as you probably know, drums/devs/belt & fuser maintenance time are a PITA. Its a great machine when fully serviced and calibrated, but such a massive job to service it. Damn I hate them. Surely soon you can get ahold of an early MX2300N or something like that which will be cheaper to run for you all.Comment
