    Sharp AR-M450N User codes

We have a customer that received this machine as a donation. It has user codes but no one knows what they are.
Is there anyway to turn those off?
It won't let me in service mode with those on, or do anything else.
I worked on these under the Imagistics name, but that was 5 years ago and I can't remember if there is a bypass to this.

    Thanks for the help.

You should be able press the custom settings button and then into administrator, admin code is probably 00000, once there touch account control and uncheck the audit button. If they have changed the admin code, go into simulations, P*C*, then sim 22-7 will give you the admin code. Once you have that then you should be able to go to custom setting and do what I described above.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

make sure it's in copy mode before trying to go into sims or it won't work.

            Thanks gwaddli,
I have tried the custom settings button and admin, but someone has changed the default.
I did hit the copy mode but it still wants the user code.
I tried again about 2 hrs ago and it still will not let me into servce mode. (I know it should, I think).
They are trying to track down where it came from and get a code. I hope they can.
If you have any other ideas PLEASE let me know.

            Thank you

              # * C * 22-7 Should give you the Key operator code. You should be able to get into service mode with it in copy mode and asking for a user code.

                Thanks travi,
I will try using # instead of P.

Went back yesterday, and I was able to get in service mode with no problem. I used the the same P,*,C,* I tried before with no luck, but yesterday it worked.
I cleared the user codes so they can use it, but I have one more question. It comes up with the CE-00 code for no network cable. I remember you can turn this warning off in the fax sims area, sim 66 and than a soft switch. Does anyone remember what switch it is?

                  Thank you

                    Soft switch 103, change bit 8 to a 1.

                      Thanks Zootech,
Is that sim 66-1 than sw 103?
                      Thanks

If the softswitch doesnt work just go in and uncheck the network port for printing.
