Sharp SF 8875

I was wondering what a U2 error code and F1 error code on the Sharp SF 8875 are, and how I can reset them? Any help appreciated, thank you.

It's hard to say without the subcodes, but a U2 code generally means a communication error between circuit boards or memory has occurred. A F1 error code concerns the sorter. The diagnostic mode (C - Interrupt - 0 - Interrupt) with TC 16 for the U2 code and TC14 for the F1 code should clear the errors and re-boot. The codes will return if it has a hard failure.
Do you really have a SF8875, I haven't seen or heard of them for at 13 years (thank goodness)?

If you have a F1 code and do not have a finisher attached you will have to go into sim 26 (I think) and tell it you no longer have a finsiher or you will never get rid of it.

It is TC 26-1, just subtract 10 from the number that popped up if you do not have a sorter.

Thanks for the info. Customer has had this copier for a while. Decided they wanted me to look at it.
