New machine on demo floor. Keyboard doesn't work. Has 3 flashing lights on keyboard. Firmware up to date. Have not looked at it very much! Anyone seen this?

For the keyboard unit to work and both USB ports to function at the same time, it must be installed exactly as the install manual says.
But, its common for the dip switches on the MFP to be set wrong, which would also cause this. Both dip switches must be set to OFF when using the USB hub which is installed when installing the keyboard unit. When no keyboard unit is installed, both dip switches OFF would only allow the front panel USB port to work. -
Board in keyboard that went bad. Replaced keyboard and problem solved. tect tip was under mx-2600.Comment
