    DXC311 fax issue

We have a DXC311 that came with the fax unit pre-installed. The customer keeps getting E7-06. We have done a memory clear with 66-10 and it will work for a while. What I need to find out is, does anyone know about what limit there would be to the number of pages that can be faxed at one time? She sends some pretty big documents.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

From what ive seen, 25 to 30 pages is about the limit. We had a customer trying to do 50 plus and it was a problem. I would also suggest changing the fax resolution.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

E7-06 on a Frontier machine with Fax Kit, has a firmware fix. The fax firmware must be v01.02.P2 or higher. Obviously the engine firmware is now updated several times, and the latest includes this fax fix.

Before that firmware release, we got that code all the time. I even had one code out every single time I sent a fax while I was onsite. That same day the new firmware was released, I installed it immediately and sent the same test fax perfectly each time, from the same machine, no other settings changed.

As far as how many fax pages can be sent/received, that totally depends on fax resolution and data coverage. From memory, its only an 8Mb module that comes with the kit, so the smaller the file the better. If sending by manual transmission instead of memory transmission, I'd say it would be unlimited.
