Fax Forward as PDF
We had a large install of 26 Sharp MFP's. Most have Fax's and they are set to Fax Forward to an e-mail address as a PDF file. All work except one MX-7001N which will only Fax Forward as a TIFF, even tho it is setup to go over as a PDF. Scanning to a straight folder it is a PDF or to a straight e-mail address it is a PDF, only when turning on Fax Forward to e-mail it comes over as a TIFF. Any thoughts?

Only the second series MX machines can fax forward (inbound route) as a PDF. The MX7001N is a first series MX machine, and yes you are right.... Its only as a TIFF.
All MX2600, 3100, 4100, 5000 series machines can do fax forward as PDF.
Its not a problem, just specification mate. Its the fax kit FXX1 that does not have that facility. The FXX2 kit does.
