[Misc] batch printing on mx-2600

Hello,

I have a customer that prints on the hdd of the machine (Retention, hold+password)
This works fine, only the batch printing is not working. (no file found) (username is the same of the user)

There are 2 groups b/w and color. (not working)

Administrator (working!)

any idees?

The only thing I can think of, is make sure the user groups are not on page limit setting. Change a user to unlimited and see if that helps. Administrator would work because it is on unlimited by default.

And make sure the correct pin number is in the driver for each user.

Make sure the firmware is up to date.

I generally leave the setup of batch printing/user authentication to the IT guys, then I clone the machine once everything is working fine, so important settings such as these are never lost.

I have had this come up and we worked around it by using the all users selection. Since they were logged into their folder it only printed out the one folders items. Seemed to work okay as they haven't called back concerning this but it was on a MXM700N not the MX2600 so don't know if it would work the same way.
