It's a notice that maintenance is coming due.

TA - The maintenance counters (total) reaches 90%
of the set value of SIM21-1, or they reaches
the set value of SIM21-1 but SIM26-38 is set to
    Print Enable.

DK is the black drum. As to whether or not you should work on them???????????????????????? One thing that happens with this machine is as you clear 1 maintenance code you will see another one until they are all done or reset. Print out a 22-6 list to see where you stand on your total count and counts on the fuser, drums, DV and xfer rollers. That will give you an idea of what you need to work on and if you want to get involved with it.

        Good luck.

TA means Total All as in the Black Drum, Black Developer, ITB, 2ITB, Fixing Assy etc - except color is probably ok (he is right about sim 22-6, but I would go prepared to do it all). As he said, each item has its' own code so as you clear one, another will pop up. If you do not know how to replace/build the items and calibrate, may be best to call a Sharp tech as you are talking about a 2hr +- service unless you rebuild onsite.
