    Sharp AR-M165 Flashing display

    Hi Everyone!
I've got a little problem with my Sharp AR-M165.
It does nothing, even it isn't in standby mode, and it doesn't print and copy.
Only its displays flashes when the scanlamp also flashes.
It is unusable , just only flashing display with the scannerlamp.
Has anyone ever met with this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.
    Best regards, Norbert

        Hi!
thank you for your help, could you please tell me where can I find sharp firmware? My company repair Canon,so we don't have sharp things.
        Thank you.

            firm ware upgrade

firm ware is only available from Sharp and it is always updated therefore if you have not been keeping up to date then you might not be able to upload the latest firmware version this is coz for eg. if your firm ware version is lets say ver 1.1.01HO and the latest version is 1.1.09HO your machine may not be able to update its self therefore resulting in system hang! this is because the gap between the versions is too far apart. have you ever tried to unplug the mc and disconnect all connectors from all the pwb's and let them be for bout 30mins then fix them back? this sometimes works as the machine will revert back to its original settings once the pwb's have been fully discharged.... else the option is to change the main pwb which should come with the latest version firm ware (that is if you can get your hands on one) as for firm ware the older versions are usually deleted of once there is a new version.....
