[Misc] Lost scan function on sharp AR-M620N

I replaced main PWB on Sharp AR-M620N. Once I did that, the scan function does not work any longer. I guess I suppose to remove the Rom chip from the old one and put it into the new board. My question is, is there any way I can input the serial number that way I can input the scan key. I don't want to buy another product key. Thanks.

yes. The ROM chip needed to be removed from old board and installed on the new board.
