    [Electrical] sharp ar 507

    Hello there,
i recently posted a question (it was under ar 502 and it was shutting off on its own)
well it is a ar507 the problem is that originally the call was for Lcc (3000) it lifted past
the height allowed by limit sensor and it tweaked the plate and snapped the lift cable
the customer was able to buy a new one in box/ now when i plug the lcc in it detects it but says it is out of service and when i press the button no led or power. My question is is it possible that when the old lcc went down it damaged the control board or ???
AS ALWAYS YOUR HELP IS APPRECIATED

    THANKS

    TAYLOR

If you had a LCC tray problem, you must clear the code with TC 15.

Sorry, I didn't see the reference to a U4 code; that relates to the Alignment plate or rear plate of the duplex unit. TC (svc mode) 14 should clear the code, and the plates can be tested and checked with TC 9.

Again, I'm sorry, but you mentioned the u4 code which refers to the duplex unit. For LCC tray problems it is TC 15 (svc mode).

TC 15 resets tray error codes, not a U4 error. A U4 error relates to the duplex alignment plate or rear plate, and is cleared with TC 14.
