    [Misc] Latest firmware for MX-3501 question

    Hey all,

    What is the latest firmware version for this model? I have a client that is unhappy with their current service company and we are looking into working on it, so im just curious as to what version they are using compared to the latest...

      *ICU BOOT above is the ROM management label for recording. Confirm that the actual version is
      (using simulation 22-05): ICU (BOOT): 1.01.00/LANGUAGE: 1.58.00/GRAPHIC: 1.06.00.

      Note:
      Before this upgrade at the Operation Panel check [Default Paper Size] in [SYSTEM SETTINGS] /

      [Printer Condition Setting] / [Printer Default Setting]. Set the confirmed paper size after the upgrade.

          Lawrence..... where have you been bro????

          The MX3500/4500 series firmware you have listed is 3 versions out of date!

          The latest is: ICU 02a11.J0.

                  Are you guys up north still running 02.09.J0???

                  Its been through 02.09n.J0, 02.10.J0, 02.11.J0 and now 02.11a.J0 since then. There are many fixes my friend in these versions. Highly recommend that the latest is used (as always).

                      sharp Idnc (America) still is 2g10.j0, what fixes were made in the 2.11 releases?

                          All the revision information just lists heaps of network issue fixes, such as slow printing PDF's, FTP pull print, AS400 not printing specific color fixes, powerpoint 2007 truetype font corrections, better print speed from Mac's using Adobe In-design, several OSA fixes, A3W jam code fixes, scanning to folder in Kerberos with long file name fixes, and a few basic changes to operation. 02.11a.J0 was released 31st May this year.

                          These fixes also apply to Pastel 1 machines (MX2300/2700) which is now up to ICU 01.19.P0.
