Sharp Fax Model AR-FX12

I have a customer that when they send Faxes at the receiving end they are coming out either speckled or there is a band in the middle of the page where there should be print but is none.

The Copy/Print side of things I am told are good.

Anyone ever see this before? Any suggestions?

Check the Image send default resolution settings & still clean all the optics/mirrors. Its common for copy to be clean, but poor quality scan for image send or vice-versa, as the scanner is setup differently for each mode.

Appreciate the tip - I think I may have been looking too deep. That just may be the problem. I'll let you know the outcome.
