When I am setting up Sharp Desk 3.3 on Windows 7 getting error code Failed 12152 The Server Return an In valid or Unrecognized Response. Checked Firewall - okay. Not sure what else to check.

I am making a guess you are doing an upgrade (not a new install). Make sure you have the SD version for both 32 & 64 bit versions (removes chances of having wrong version). Only time I ran into a problem was when the customer was putting his SD ver 3.0 original CD in the drive. You must use ver 3.1 or 3.2 BUT the code for 3.0 works. What we did was use a 3.2 CD and then enter his code from his ver 3.0.

      Update

I posted the issue I was having as described. While I was trying to work though the issue, I noticed that the client, who I had SharpDesk working, that he had changed his Virusware.
Turned it off, and used the Network Tool to then have success.

Never overlook the simplist fixes - I need to remember this.

      Thanks for your input.

first of all i think you should return the machine to photocopy mode

Turn off the firewall or open port 21 for ftp scan file transfer data from machine to client, if this port have been use for another application run on this pc, so that can't transfer file to pc

Glad to hear it was a fix for you!

When I gave the Error Code to Sharp Tech - the Tech said he'd never seen the code before. I was the first time caller I guess.

But again, never overlook the obvious.

            Thank you.
