[Jamming] Sharp mx4100 CPFD jams

Hi guys.

I've got a strange one here. Getting CPFD1 jams from all trays, including desk.
specific codes are cpfd1-s1, cpfd1-s2, cpfd1-s3 and cpfd1-s4. I know the paper feed drive unit can cause this from trays 1 and 2, but can it also affect the desk feed ?

There are numerous other posts on this exact problem here already. Go through the Sharp forum & have a look. ALL your answers are there.

You either have very dirty/stained vertical transport rollers or high paper dust contamination of the optical sensors in the paper path. Very common. Many mods have been done.
And yes, paper feeding from desk is affected as well. You can see that your affected sensor is the CPFD1.
