[Error Code] How to remove and disable finisher from SHARP BC260 copier?

We have a SHARP BC260 copier that comes with a finisher, I need to disable finisher because new office is smaller and no room for that finisher.

When I tried to disable finisher from device control menu, it shown “This function can not be done now”, any way to disable finisher and remove it physically?

With the power turned off, simply unplug the connector and if it has the rail, unscrew it to remove. Turn power back on, you should be OK.

Just unplug it. It will boot up just showing the engine, no finisher, on the display.

Thanks for your advice. Now my copier could copy but all print jobs queued on print server side, no print job list on the copier and no print even I submitted Print Test Page. I could ping to that copier from my PC. Do you know why?

If you removed the finisher, the print driver must be updated to show no finisher. Go to the configuration tab of your printer properties and make the changes. You may have to clear the print que on the server and try again.
