    hdd on sharp unit

not familiar with sharp at all, i have a sharp mx-3501n. I was wondering if this unit has a hard drive? Where is it located and is there a way to format the hdd to erase all and any information off of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it does, it's location is attached to the MFP control pwb box. Test command 62-1 will format the HDD except for the operation manual area. TC 62-8 will format and clear data excluding system area and op manual area.
Boy, I type slow, glewisme beat me to it.
