    Sharp AR-M355 Scanning Set-up

I am installing scanning on a sharp AR-M355. There is only 1 computer going to a hub along with the machine. I have static IP addressed the machine and the computer. The print driver is inatalled and printing fine. I can ping the machine from the computer and the computer from the machine. When I installed the Sharpdesk and configured the scan settings, it does not auto detect the machine. I put the IP address in manually. It does place the user info into the machine. When I try to scan, I get an error CE-02. What could be wrong?

Did you turn off the anti-spyware software before installation? I have had problems sometimes with this. Check to see if your firewall is blocking you also, just turn it off and try to scan and see if you get the CE-02 code. Which version of Sharpdesk are you using?

    Good luck.

Make sure all firewalls, including windows firewall, are either off or let traffic through both ways. Can you try to scan to network folder? I added the entry on CE-02 from an MX below. Look through that and see if anything helps.
