Sharp AR208D with ARNB2A Print Scan kit

I recently sold one of these with the Print Scan kit but am unable to Scan to in Duplex.

I am told the only way to scan in duplex is to disable the Print Scan kit, use the GDI interface with a USB cable and use Button Manager.

I can scan to email simplex OK but can see no way to do this duplex task. I have searched through included DDDM software but can see no way to Duplex scan with it as well.

Please advise.

Due a shortcoming in the Sharp design, the copier does not communicate that it has an RADF.

Amazingly and pitifully this duplex copier can not Network scan in duplex. Only print or copy.

If you remove the Print kit, it can scan in Duplex via USB with Button Manager.

I had to remove the copier and upgrade the customer to a different manufacturer after wasting many hours.

Test command 26-2 sets the type of feeder, either a SPF or RSPF.
