    sharp mx-2700n dark images

Changed colour developer and charge kits, performed developer adjustment and colour calibration, didn't have drums in stock but changed them as soon as I did, now I am getting very dark prints and copys even after following full calibration procedure.

At a loss on this now

These are very touchy machines, hate that long ass color calibration procedure!! Anyways, when I've run into this issue in the field I always reloaded the firmware(yes, this really does help!), check the 2 transfer assy's(they never seem to get the yeild out of the parts for these units). Then finally do the color cal again. Ive actually had to dial in a few times to tweak the overall exposure values. Also ensure your useing the OEM sharp color cal. charts!
Hope this helps, let me know what fixed this issue!

Thanks do you mean to replace the b2 and x2 kits, yeah i have the super expensive color cal. charts. I will hopefully get back early next week I was able to reduce the problem a bit by changing developer voltage in simulation 8-1 but did have time to check the actual voltage will check them also next week

The calibration jig must be used before any other calibration routine.

Have checked voltages developer bias and transfer all seem ok but charge voltages across all colours and black displaying 40+/-1v manual says should be 53.6

Did you clean the toner density sensor before running the calibration? Just a thought.

                Hello,
The magic colour calibration sequence is indicated into attachments.
After that, don't forget to execute the customer colour calibration (copy and printer) from "user settings".
Only at this time the customer calibrations will be aligned to the previously service calibrations!

                Regards

Toner density error for all 3 colors? After you did a PM. Did you use the correct developer MX27NV?A? What are your sim 25-1 values for the developer units?
