MX4500 Adjusting Print Quality - Please wait

Hi Guys, we have an MX4500 that keeps saying "Adjusting Print Quality - Please Wait". We have changed the drums and developers and re-calibrated using the SIT chart. We have installed the latest driver and disabled the Bit Switch that allows this message to appear. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Subject: Display message: 'Please Wait, Print Quality is Being Automatically
    Adjusted.

Symptom: Display message: 'Please Wait, Print Quality is Being Automatically Adjusted.'
(Adjustment of Execution Timing of Process Control)

Cause: . When Process Control is performed, the display will read Please Wait, Print Quality is
Being Automatically Adjusted. A delay will occur while process control is adjusted.

Solution: For optimum copy quality, it is strongly recommended to leave the process control
intervals set to factory default levels. In some cases, a customer may complain that
these messages occur too frequently. In this case, it is possible to adjust the process
control intervals, however, the customer must be made aware that a noticeable
reduction in copy quality may occur.

Process Control adjustment occurs at power on, then repeats at certain intervals based
    on drum rotation.

Refer to detail of Simulation 44-28 in the Service Manual. Confirm that all settings are
    at factory default.

To increase the interval between execution of the process control correction, do the
    following:

    For MX-2300/2700:
Value K: BK_RATIO, default value is 20, set to 40.
Value L: M_RATIO, default value is 20, set to 40.
    For MX-3501/4501:
Value L: BK_RATIO, default value is 20, set to 40.
Value M: M_RATIO, default value is 20, set to 40.

Important Note: Increasing the interval can reduce image quality, and it is not
recommended to change any simulation 44-28 settings other than as covered
    previously.

Updating to the latest firmware version will greatly improve the wait times as well.
