    mxm453 scanning setup

Some of my collegues have been complain that since moving from an ARM451 to a MXM453 the scanning has become more diffcult, for example on the ARM451 you selected your name put a document into the document feeder it scanned and sent then you could put in another document and it would scan and send. Now with the MXM453 you have to reselect the address after every document, how do I change this

    Thanks

    Beopo

You have to go in the system setting, login in as admin and you will find what you need under the image send setting - operation setting - other setting - default display setting(not sure about this one). Look for something called HOLD SETTING FOR A WHILE AFTER SCAN HAS BEEN COMPLETED

Can't remember exactly where it this and i dont have a copier near me.

    Hope this help.

Try to reboot the mfp with the main power switch, ive seen some setting worked after loging out or rebooting the copier.

I doubt this is a firmware issue .

My mistake, tried it today on a mxm750 and it will keep the setting but not the address.

I checked some setting but did not see anything that could help you with your problem.

You can always use the RESEND key on the touch panel or if your coworker have to send multiple pages tho the same person and they have to be each on their own pdf file (not all together on 1 pdf), you can always specify the number of page per pdf . So if they send 10 pages at the same time and specified 1 page/pdf, they will receive 10 pdf files.
