Working on a Sharp ar-5132 With many areas of concern look at eariler posts. Cannot get 44-3 past 78
44-215 changed lower sensor on process-unit came up to 93.When i use another drum an process-unit
can adj to normal 218 -225 on vr1 an vr2 whare is my problem could a bad drum cause the sensor to read low changed wiring on process unit no change.Changed developer now the dev in 25-2 set up at-42
when it should be if i can rem 89-96 rpl dv sensor no-change this sob is kicking my-A. i wont to change the pcu but when i changed the process unit w another drum everything works well.using a borrowed drum and process unit Will buy a new drum but running scared. only have 6 of these left in the field with min parts left.help help

You say you replaced wiring on process unit, did that include the 'sensor VR pwb' (sec 13 item 56)? These pwbs are easily damaged and will cause all sorts of problems. Are you using OEM supplies (drum and dv)?, there were some problems with 3rd party vendors.

Replaced the followering1.drum sensor,2wiring harness3adj board on process unit. Revisit post if i can take a diffrent drum an process unit from
another 5132 an run the normal set up an everything runs well the problem is in process area but whare?HELP HAVE SERVICE manuel

Finally got drum sensor problem fixed problem was the drum sensor position where it attaches to the process unit was not right moving sensor away from drum causing sensor to read low.worked on another 5132 an noticed the location of the sensor was different changed my lower sensor position an woller those numbers came running in 44-2 an 44-3 218
the small cut out in the toner recovery blade is the correct position.That one reason i dont like cleaning up mess. If i had taken it apart from the start would have noticed that.Agin thanks
