When you lost the product key for example the Postscript Option PKX1 on the Sharp MX-2600, knows anyone a possibility to read out on any way the product key on the machine after you activated it once?

Sharp should've emailed a copy of the product key at the time of activation. Do you know who did the set up and/or install?“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'” (Isaac Asimov) -
Sharp also has a Softkey central so if you ordered the product and the key through this website there should be a record of the product key that you can get. If you did it through the Product Key website then you should have recieved an email as Hemlock mentioned with the product key page. I always print this page out and put the number in the machine paperwork as I have unfortunately erased product keys before and needed to redo them. If you have none of these and you are a Sharp dealer then you may be able to get the key re-issued but there was a post recently that stated that Sharp will no longer do this. There is no way that I am aware of to read what the product key is after it is entered into the machine.
Good luck.
