Sharp Printer Status Monitor Help ?

I just got my Sharp MX-M620N up and running via USB port and are trying to get the Printer Status Monitor working.

But I have no luck so far.

Does the Printer Status Monitor need the Network connection to work or can it be run via USB ?

I also installed the Printer Administration utility but it's not showing any printers installed.
Does this also need a Network cable to the MFP or can it be run via USB Port ?

Yes, it must use the cat5 network connection for both.
