    Sharp AR-M236, fusercode

    Sharp AR-M236, fusercode.

Machine gives a fuser service code H2-00 because one of the connectors came loose.
After reattaching the harness I'm still not able to reset the machine. I used:

    # > * > C > * 14 > START
    as described in the manual.

The # * and C button beep but when hitting "14" and Start nothing happens and no beep either.

I have the feeling the logic is somehow not accepting my input. Even in the case that there still is another fault in the fuser, should there be an audible or visible motion before it codes out again when the original fault isn't corrected yet?

    Any idea's?

Try resetting the thermocouple. There's a small tab on the back of it that you can push in to reset then go through sim 14 again.

    Good luck.

Make sure you are in copy mode first.

      Then do the # * C *

Your screen should change, now you can enter 14 then start.

At the screen it will ask you to confirm, press 1 and start.
