Sharp MX-B402SC pwr off/on by itself

Anyone seen a problem w/ a Sharp MX-B402SC copier turning itself off even when auto-shut down is turned off? If a print job is sent- then turning pwr sw off then on will bring up copier to print and then it will turn itself off. Weird.

Any ideas? I have updated Firmware to latest version.

Checked the outlet voltage? Does the unit have a surge protector? Have dozens of these units and never seen this...
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

Voltage @ the wall is steady, into the copier - steady, and across outputs of HV steady.

Weird thing is this: If it turns off, and you send it a print job, then turn off main pwr sw and then turn on, it wakes up and prints the print job then turns off again. Auto Pwr off is disables. It was turning off even if I was in SIMS. Tech Supt suggested MFP or HD.

did you run SIM 62-2 thru 6 to test the HDD,also you can try formatting the HDD 62-1 to see if it makes a difference

          This is weird...

When you turn power back on, do you have a misfeed ?

Also, have you checked if the correct print driver was used ?

Turns out after a while w/ Tech Supt, I noticed that the power sw on the op panel did not work (acted like it was always off) and the power LED on the op panel was never lit even when main pwer sw was on. The cable from the op panel to the SCN-CNT PWB was not plugged in all the way. Seated it properly and all is well!
