    Thanks for that. I meant to reply last week about this and the fix. To make a long story short - it was the dev unit! We were able to get the machine to the workshop and switched the transfer assembly's, fusing unit and then the dev unit. Problem went away. In saying that, we ran multiple tests on the machine with the new dev unit in it and could almost see slight banding - to be fair, I think we were being very critical. We put the old dev unit into another machine and the fault went with it. The precise-ness of the fault (banding every centimetre) was what steered us away from the dev unit. We had heard that some drive assembly's had not been positioned correctly from manufacture, but ours was fine. All of this, however, did not change the slight fade from rear to front. Still looking at that. - Thanks for your help on this one.
