Sharp 2610 A4 booklet mode problems

    Hi,

This sounds like a very stupid question but it has me stumped.

I am trying to print out a booklet on A4R paper but when ever I do it doesn't re size the image on the paper. If I print out an A3 booklet it works no problems. I have gone back and used the same method on all the older sharps and it works fine.

Is there a setting that I am not doing correctly? Is there a new setting on this range of machines?

This happens on copies and on prints

    Thanks in advance

Re: Sharp 2610 A4 booklet mode problems

I was playing with one of these last week. Saddle Stitch is on by default. Turn it off under copier settings. The other thing I noticed is there is no saddle stitch box in the driver. Saddle stitch has been replaced by "half fold inside", "half fold outside", and "multi fold staple", or something along those lines. If it is on under copier settings, the page orientation can get goofy. Another thing I found odd: the print driver does not have glossy as a type selection although the machine does. I checked the other driver versions and the same missing type setting. We lost a deal due to the fact that they wanted to print on glossy stock but could only copy to glossy from the machine, not print.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!
