    [Misc] MXC311 - Touch Panel And Keyboard not responding.

    Hi guys,

    i really need you help.
    After a E7-06 error (solved by power off/on) this machine is driving me crazy.

    After 2 hours working touch panel and keyboard would not work any more (no errors on display).
    Machine keeps printing and faxing (receive) I can't copy and fax because of keyboard not responding. I have to plug power off and after a 5/6 minutes with no power machine keeps working fine again. 2 Hours and touch panel and keyboard Lock.

    I can't see any clue to solve this..... any advice from you?

          E7-06 is a decompression error. Make sure the fax firmware is up to date as this is a known issue. You may also have a bad memory chip in the MFP board, also a known issue. Run SIM 66-10 to clear out the fax junk. If the fax line runs through the surge protector, you could remove it. You could also have a print job locking up the machine. I have seen this with older version of Corel software. You could try unplugging the network cable.
