The blue ribbon appears fine and the waves are only inside the blue border. Is this a print or a copy job? If print: try adjusting the advanced color settings in the print driver or try a different driver. If copy: run shading execution for the scanner, SIM 63 I think. Has the machine been color calibrated recently? Always a good start with Sharps.

I had a similar problem on a smaller color Sharp (MXC311), where a certain file that was blue would render in a slight purple. Changing the advanced color settings solved our problem.

I would calibrate your engine as Mojo suggested. Try a differnt document and see what happens. Are you using postscript? Some times the PCL drivers don't do a very good job of producing the right colors.

Calibrate your engine first, if your still having issues change the driver to a PCL5e or a PCL6. Postscript is best if the machine has it.

Ive attached a color calibration cheat sheet. Don't perform sim 25-2 on a Sharp unless your changing DV.

You can't do sim 63-3 with out a SIT chart or sim 44-13 with out the jig.

This machine has 46-74 (does copy and print together) so you can skip doing 46-24 (copy) and 67-24 (printer)

this is a print job. copying colour is fine. in the sample i have shown, inside the border is suppose to be a light blue colour. insted iim getting yellow bands in some areas.

i will try to do the colour calibrations on next visit
