    printing from macs with InDesign

Hi guys, we have run into a weird issue and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on it. We installed an MX5112 where two Mac users print to it. They are printing from an application called InDesign and doing double sided (which must line up - front and back). The problem is, one user prints fine, while the others' registration is off by about 5 millimeters. It is also off when printing PDF versions of these InDesign files. I know this is not technically a "copier" guys job - but when did that ever stop us fixing stuff!

The thing about InDesign is that you use the software to line up the registration for double siding by moving the images.

Chances are that on Mac has InDesign already setup like this so that the registration is spot on and the other isn't.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.

Yeah, its definitely in-design causing it as we have painstakinly set the registration. All settings from one mac look the same as the other, but it is trying to nail down the cause and show the user that is the trouble (and yes, i can hear everyone saying it, we shouldn't be doing this......but we are. Maybe we can start a rant some day about "whats the oddest thing you did for the job)
