ARF15 finisher getting jammed on in machine

It is the #1 problem that we have with this finisher.

    Good luck.

I am having this problem with an ARF15 on an ARM550N. How do you solve this problem? It only happens on the rear black swing arm. All other staple function have no problem until you staple on a portrait 8.5x11 or 11x17 on the back corner. I can staple the two side staples no problem and the bottom corner no problem. I can even staple 8.5x14 no problem in the top corner as the stapler never completely passes this black arm. But as soon as the stapler passes the rear back black swing arm and tries to come back it sends up a error message saying stapler is jammed.
Not sure how to adjust this to make it work. Already had to change the #7 sensor flag on this thing because it had a nice paper grove in it messing up the staple positions ans such.

Anything to help would be great!!

Not exactly the reply I was hoping for...I already have all the manual, which doesn't say much in any effort to help me resolve this problem.

Mostly looking to see if anyone has seen a problem like this b4 and how they fixed it if they did.

just so you all know how this gets fixed

One of my co-Techs suggested to replace the the Staple finisher ribbon cable as they have had it when it bends to far one way it looses contact. This was not my fix.

There is a white plastic guide wheel under the stapler unit. Not the one with the teeth the other one. This guide wheel was worn and had been just slightly popping out of of the guide at the point where the guide forks. Not enough to complete get out but enough to cause slightly more added resistance causing the stapler to not move forward. I took out the stapler unit and guide rail replaced and everything is good.

Hope this helps someone in the future that has the same problem cause it took a while to figure out!

THANKS for posting the fix - now lets see if I can remember this for the next time.
