Stop Sharp MX 200D from switching paper trays while printing

    Hello all,

I have a Sharp MX-200D that automatically switches paper trays when one tray runs empty while users are printing to it. However, the two trays are different paper sizes (tray 1 is 8.5x11, tray 2 is 11x17). Is there a way to disable this function, so that if a tray runs out of paper, the machine just stops printing?

    Thanks,

    Michael

Try going into System Settings > Printer Tray Settings > uncheck the AutoTray Switching.

That would work except he says there are different size papers in the two drawers (unless the drawer for tray two was not set up for 11x17, and the machine thinks it is 8.5x11).
