MX-3501n - Bypass Load paper message on display.

Have an MX-3501n Copier that does not appear to recognize paper being loaded in the bypass tray. We switched the bypass unit out with a known working unit and the message still remained. Was wondering if someone has had the same issue and knew of a particular cable or board that we could look at/exchange to remedy this error?

    Thanks

Have you tried calibrating the paper size detection with sim 40-2?

Tech has tried 40-2. Problem not due to print job in queue.

Check sim 30-2 and verify MPED sensor is working correctly then.

MTOP 1 and 2 Flash on and off. MPED doesn't respond. We believe it to be a board or connection but were hoping to narrow down said board/connection.
