Re: POD2_S
I would check the reverse gate on the door to make sure that it is not warped or cracked causing the jams. I would also check the APPD1 sensor to make sure that it is working. There was a bulletin (MFP-TB-376) about the APPD1 sensor. Hope this helps. -

Re: POD2_S
I am having the same problem on a 2700. I had to go in and clean off the POD2 sensor and while it works fine now on single sheet copying, the duplex stops exactly where you say yours does. I am going to try and clean the sensor thoroughly and hoping all it is that I didn't put it back together last time properly. Please post information if you have solved this problem.Comment

Re: POD2_S
I had a machine do the same thing. Runs single sided all day but duplex it fails. My problem was with the 2nd transfer-belt. Some how the two black brackets that you put on in order to apply the stretch or rather the inside pressure to the belt had been swapped, front to back and back to front. Very small problem that meant the transfer had a slightly greater angle causing it to jam on the switch gate when doing duplex. You said you replaced the whole door unit? did that include the 2nd transfer?
Hope this helps (I think there was a bulletin about this)What's Brown and Sticky?

Re: POD2_S
replacing the exit unit has fixed POD2 jams for me. You might want to check the energy save feature. If this is set too high it can cause warping and damage to the exit unit/right side door. I know most people want to walk up and make a copy instantly so sometimes it's not possible to lower these settings.Comment

Re: POD2_S
I had a 4501 that would do this also. Mine was a fused problem, Can't recall what it was we swapped fuses.Comment
