    SF2116

I am working on a SF2116 with light copies. I replaced the drum, blade and developer. The copies are a little lighter now before the replacement. I did the developer initialization. The corona wires are good. Any information would be appreciated.

Did you do any exposure adjustments in the test Commands? Is the copier in toner save mode?

Test command 46-01 will adjust exposure. If your adjustments are good in the test commands, but are off in regular copying, you probably are in user set toner save mode.

Did you clean the mirrors under the black metal dark box cover ? I realize in analog that dirty optics usually makes for darker copies but might be worth looking at.

                .

be careful, when clean this mirrors, do not move by hands, first put the mirrors in the enlarge mode, for you can get space clean easy this mirrors.

if you try move them by hands, the mirrors can desajust easy.

                good look

I did clean optics and under black cover when I did the drum replacement and developer. I went back today and I did test command 46-01. Copies are darker now, thank you very much.

Good advice from Zootech. I should have thought a little longer before posting. My penalty for that is a phone call I just took for service on one of these
