    [Misc] SHARP MX2300N

    Hello everybody!
Have a question for the Sharp specialists... on this models, the toner chip expires before the toner does, so we end up with a full useless bottle (not cost effective for rental machines) I have been researching where to get the chips but have not been able to find a good source, they might have a set or two but I need a supplier that sells more, or has anybody found a solution for this situation?
    Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

The crum expires ? .. This is news for me.. I have some genuine stock that we have had on the shelf for over a year that seems to work fine .. Can you explain more about this expiring chip situation ?

We very rarely have much toner left in these when they reach end of life. You may have another issue if you have a significant amount left over. As to the chips we haven't had very good luck with any suppliers of after market chips!

      Good luck.

I think you must have an issue with the toner supply. They usually try and add toner 5? odd times before the crum chips get told they are useless. Could be a toner sensor issue in the dev tanks? 2300's have seperate toner motors for each toner on the main drive unit.

Are you on the latest 19 firmware? I remeber when these machines were very new (a while back now) they had some toner issues. Also are you using genuine toner?

Does the machine seem dusty or the dev tanks really full?
