[Error Code] E7-20 MX-2600

Has someone experience with this code (E7-20) on a Sharp MX-2600.
I know in most cases replacement of the LSU will fix the problem.
Anyone with other experiences/solutions?

Make sure the shutter is opening all the way. Make sure firmware is current. There are quite a few firmware fixes pertaining to E7-20. Run SIM 61-1 to test the laser. If it fails the test, a new laser is most likely needed.
