I don't know the name for the more recent series AR-257/317

The main problems I experienced were delivery units crumbling, and dumping developer on this series. Most of the time a drum replacement stopped the pulling of developer.

I've seen a lot of the machines dumping developer (seems the 257's have been worse than the 277's for whatever reason). I've found replacing the right side door along with the x-fer unit also goes a long way to solving it. But i've seen times a new seal on the DV unit, and drum/charge replacement/cleaning does the trick too.

Overall they are good machines. We have one still in the field with 1.2 million on it, but normally I see most of them start getting more problem prone around the 500-600K mark.
