[Misc] Mx-m260 no offset sorting to center tray

This feature seems to be disabled for North America, so you cannot Offset Sort to the center tray anymore. See page 2-3 of the Service Manual (Shifter Function).

It must be a way of encouraging customers to purchase the MX-FNX13 Finisher.

Has anyone found a way around this ?

Well, assuming it is disabled only for North America, one could simply change the destination settings in 26-6 to somewhere else, but be prepared for any backlash that may result.
Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?

I would have to look but if I remember right there isn't a shifter motor in the machine. So I think you are screwed.

I wasn't aware that these new & improved machines had offset stacking as an option until setting one up. When it didn't shift, I set out to find the cause of the trouble. I believe Harleyrider is correct that there are parts missing that were on the previous versions. It can be another Sharp Imager sale lost when you add in the extra expense of the finisher, especially when that sale is to replace a Sharp machine that came with the offset as standard equipment.
