[Misc] Destroying gear in back of MX-301U1

I had a H5-01 and found out it was the belt unit. The gear on the transfer belt side was cracked and shattered. It's the back right gear, NROLM1722FCZ1,
that aligns with a pin. We've ordered and replaced the belt unit twice, MX-310U1. Same thing happens. Has there been a service bulletin on this particular issue or am I doing something wrong?

It's an issue you'll see from time to time, it's not too common but it happens more than it should. Particularly on the 2300/2700 and the 2600/3100 machines. Every time it's happened to my machines there has always been a small cluster of other problems (one time had a 3" crack running the length of the pressure roller in a 2700 along with this gear breaking AND having pieces of the shattered gear tear the primary xfer belt to shreds, it wasn't pretty).

Just replace the gear and keep a few handy...
Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?
