Try reseating the memory and ROMs. Have had weird things happen like this on color machines.

Have you run a full calibration lately? These machines can be funny if only the copy side has been calibrated. Make sure to calibrate copy and print at the same time.

I have had these type of lines before and it turned out to be the Laser unit,

If its not the memory i would try swapping lasers

As suggested then it could potentially be your laser, seeing as how it's affected whether it's copies or prints.

Try changing your laser and see how it turns out.

Agreed. At this point, check/clean the laser unit and the shutter. If you make black and white copies and are getting color streaks, check the cam in the transfer belt. This would indicate all first transfer rolls being on the belt. Check the IT belt drive gear. When all else fails, do a panic stop. Punch in 10 copies, wait until the third one then yank open a door. You can then pull the IT belt, drum, DV unit, etc. and get a good idea of what is going on. If the IT belt looks like the example, its probably laser or belt unit related. Pull the toner carts and run SIM 25-1; see of the voltages or DV readings are way off. If it has 2 memory cards, pull one and try them individually.
