    Mfp says Ripping when prnting

hello guys, a member of our sales team called me today from a clients site, and told me that when he is printing PDF files to the MFP mx-3501n the display just says Ripping, he says it sits there for like 15min before it prints the pdf file,is this the fault of adobe acrobat? i think i remember seeing a TT on this but i could be wrong, the weird thing is that the client can print .doc files with no problem, can someone help me on this one, maybe a firmware upgrade can fix this?thanks in advance.

If they are printing to the PCL driver, the Fiery is converting or "ripping" the file to PS format.
Load the PS driver and/ or upload the fonts they are using and it should process faster.
Adobe is PS format. Microsoft is PCL format.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?
