Ar-336 very slow LPT port printing plz help

hi,please help me my ar-336 printer is very slo when I'm printing for example 30 page it takes approx 10 minutes for just transfer data from PC to printer >> any solutions ?

What type of documant are you trying to print? Have you tried to re-install the driver? What operating system are you using?

Try changing your Parallel Port mode in the BIOS of your machine.

Modes to try are:

Bi-Directional
ECP
EPP
Depending on the age of the computer, NIBBLE

Ahmad,
first of all I would advise you to consider replacing that machine being that it is probably over 10 years old.

secondly, make sure the port in the print driver is set to Raw 10001, rather than the default raw 9100.
this helps these machines communicate faster and in a more correct manner with the printers.
