CPFD1_S has to do with the reflection sensor in the right door. They have a new sensor design. MFP-TB-527.

I just took over this call from another tech. The only error code in log was F1-08. The jam history was showing mainly CPFD1_S and FGMJ. CPFD1_S has not returned, but maybe with the constant FGMJ, it doesn't have a chance to jam.

I did try to change N to 35. same result. Replaced it with FN9, so now I can work on it in the shop.

Enter Simulation 3-10 and set value N to 35 from 50.

MX-5001N - constant FGMJ jam codes

I am working on a MX-5001N with a MX-FN10, that has been having intermittent f1-08 errors, CPFD1_S1 and FGMJ jams.

I believe I have fixed the CPFD1_S1 jam by cleaning PFD1 sensor and I believe I have fixed the F1-08 by replacing the bushings, gear and shaft from bulletin MFP-TB-473.

Since I have replaced the parts, I am now getting a constant FGMJ jam. I do not see that sensor in simulation to test, but believe it to be in the offset section. The paper feeds fine all the way to the exit, when it comes out and then goes inward. It stops and shows jam. I have doouble and triple checked all connection that I have dealt with and check to make sure no sensor was misseated. I cannot find anything.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
