First sheet stops on conveyor as it enters. I opened center door for conveyor and cheated interlock to see if rollers were turning and they were. I cleaned rollers but no change. Regular copying is fine so no problem with other actuator. Would this likely be a conveyor entry sensor problem with possible sticking actuator or is there something else I should look for. First time servicing F14 though i have service Ar-M237 many times. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Re: AR-M237--F14 first sheet stops on finisher conveyor as it enters
According to my manual there is no F14, F1-04, or Fx-14 error condition. Would you like to try again?
Occasionally a new error condition appears that isn't in any manual, but rarely on Sharp. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Hi David. The F14 is the abbreviated model # of the Sharp AR-F14 saddle stitch finisher. The conveyer is under the scanner unit of the AR-M237 just above normal exit are of the machine body. FrankComment

Re: AR-M237--F14 first sheet stops on finisher conveyor as it enters
Check the exit section on the machine itself before the paper enters the finisher converyance section, as I have seen the plastic warp just enough to cause intermittent jamming. The plastic maybe warped enough to cause the paper to pass over the actuator in the exit section (right before the finisher conveyance) without making full contact causing false jams as the paper enters the finisher conveyance. The cheap plasic has always caused a problem in the exit sections with the fuser in these models.Comment
