Sharp MX 2301 blank copy

One of my customer (ship ) is having Sharp Mx 2301 multifunction copier.
When the "waste toner full" message came they removed,cleaned and
washed the waste toner bottle, installed it back. But while printing or
copying blank copy page comes out. no error message is displayed
scanning works Ok

Please help with your expertise

Hey Thomson!
You do not accidentally loosen the blue screw how holds the Transport Unit?
(Shown in Service Manuel Appendix 9-9 Fig.3)
If ITB is not locked Machine will "Print" Blank Pages.

What have you done or replaced so far? What does your sim 64-5 test print look like?

Thank you very much for your comment/suggestions.
Frankly, i haven't inspected the machine yet since it is on board the ship
anchored few miles from the shore.
I may get few hours to inspect and repair the machine, but i do not
have any idea about the subject copier, no service manual, actually i have
not seen one (This model sharp is very rare in this part of the world) that is why
i wanted your expertise

Like bilyahn stated, printing from SIM mode is great for troubleshooting. If internal prints are also blank, check the following:
-Laser unit, no laser, no image.
-High Voltage Board. These have a few dinky plastic clips holding the bottom of the board to the frame. The board comes loose, loosing contact and causing blank prints.
-The IT belt cam. If the cam does not turn, the FTR rolls never put an image on the belt. If the waste toner filled up too soon, this is a good indication of a bad cam.

Some of the Sharps(Can't remember about this one in particular) when you removed the waste toner bottle it closed the shutters on the laser. I've had the lever get stuck in closed position a few times so it would make blank copies after it was emptied or replaced.
