    MX-C401 with MX-FXX3 problem

I have a Fire Company that has recently purchased a MX-C401 with a MX-FXX3. They can receive faxes from everybady but their dispatching "rip and run" system. The county is using Impact Systems dispatching software. When the fax answers it sounds like the dispatching software disconnects. They are using an analog phone line at the Fire House.

We have tried turning off V.34 and JBIG. We have slowed the modem down to 9600. Even tried another phone cord. We took their old Panasonic DP-190 back to them and it works fine. Anyone else run into this?
    Thanks

Turn off ECM, change coding to MMR. Also make sure you are using a 2 line phone card.

Do they have any issues receiving regular faxes? if so the ROM might be in the wrong slot, i've had this happen a few times before.
Also, make sure ECM is off and set the number of rings to auto receive to 0-1.

Being that the other old fax runs it just fine it makes me lean towards a rom being in the wrong slot.
