Open the front door of the finisher. Open the cover / transport at the very bottom. Inside, you will see two U shaped arms on belts. The U shaped "stacker arms" hold the paper before the folding knife pushes it through the rollers. If that doesn't help, cheat the door and watch it work. The shim goes on the front arm.

I have tried everything in SIM and nothing ever worked. What I do is add a shim to the front stacker arm. A piece of paper folded 3 times held in place with clear shipping tape works great. I have half a dozen like this and zero call backs for folding issues after the shim.

Thanks for the response, but I must profess my ignorance in not knowing what you're calling a stacker arm. If you can tell me where it is in the parts book I'm sure I can figure out how to shim it. Thanks again.

    MXFN10 FINISHER FOLDING

Has anyone had one of these where the fold position will drift off about 1/8 of and inch. It pretty much stays at the amount and you can adjust it back with sim 3-10, but it will drift off again within a couple of days. I don't think it's dirty rollers because it's just too consistent. Anybody seen this and have any ideas?
